Breville Bambino vs Barista Express vs Barista Pro

Three Breville machines compared on maker specs and U.S. list prices, with a buy-now-or-wait call for each.

We do not bench-test, review or use this gear. Everything below comes from each maker's own product page (list price, specs and the date we checked), U.S. CPSC recall notices, and, for the buy-now-or-wait calls, named public reports of last year's holiday prices. We show no star ratings or review counts. Some links are affiliate links; see the disclosure.

The smallest and lowest-priced of the three, with PID and ThermoJet heating. No grinder.

Breville U.S. list price, checked Oct 17, 2026

Buy now or wait? Leaning wait. Last year the Bambino was reported at $249.95 against a $299.95 list price over the Black Friday to Cyber Monday weekend. If that pattern repeats, waiting for Nov 27 to 30 may save money, but there is no promise it will. Source: USA Today, Nov 30, 2025. This is a past pattern, not a forecast; we do not have our own retailer price history yet.
